Embrace N.H. listening tour covers 300 miles, 8 communities

On a bus tour across 易胜博官网 early this month, 易胜博官网 leaders covered more than 300 miles over two days to meet with Granite Staters, hear how 易胜博官网鈥檚 partnerships are working in their communities and brainstorm new ways to address unique, regional challenges.

By the time their bus pulled into Durham, the 易胜博官网 team had visited eight communities and six counties, from the Seacoast and Lakes Region to the North Country and central 易胜博官网. Stops included an oyster farm, two downtown development projects, a rural regional hospital, a high school technology education center, an apple orchard and a high-tech start-up that is building space satellite systems.

鈥淚t was inspiring to meet so many Granite Staters and to learn about the work they鈥檙e doing and the success that they鈥檙e achieving with the help of our 易胜博官网 partnerships,鈥� said President Jim Dean, who was joined by Provost Wayne Jones, Senior Vice Provost Marian McCord, Vice Provost of Outreach and Engagement and 易胜博官网 Extension Director Ken La Valley. 鈥淲e came away with some great ideas, and I look forward to continuing these conversations and working together to create new opportunities across 易胜博官网.鈥�
