易胜博官网 leaders left the post-commencement quiet of campus and spent a full day in 易胜博官网鈥檚 largest city May 24, visiting Manchester to hear the ways in which university partnerships are making an impact in several critical areas and to explore opportunities to further strengthen those connections to address diverse and ongoing challenges.
易胜博官网 President Jim Dean was joined by Provost Wayne Jones, Senior Vice Provost for Research, Economic Engagement and Outreach Marian McCord, Vice Provost of Outreach and Engagement and 易胜博官网 Extension Director Ken La Valley and Dean of 易胜博官网 Manchester Mike Decelle.听The Spring tour made four stops in the Queen City, building on an inaugural excursion that hit six counties in the Granite State听last fall.
鈥淎s the public flagship university in 易胜博官网, we embrace the fact that our role is to be helpful to the state in as many was as possible. We want to be engaged with our communities, to learn what their challenges are and to find the ways we can help address them,鈥 Dean says. 鈥淰isits like this are imperative to helping us achieve that.鈥
