
The celebrated the National Day on Writing on October 20, 2022, with partners from the ; Connors Writing Center; the (C-WRET); ; and the .
The was founded by the National Council of Teachers of English to 鈥渄raw attention to the remarkable variety of writing Americans engage in and to help make writers from all walks of life aware of their craft鈥 and transform the public鈥檚 understanding of writing and the role it plays in society today." The 易胜博官网 Literacy Institutes and their partners were proud to be a part of this mission.
The celebration at 易胜博官网 included 160 eighth graders from a local school who descended upon the halls of Hamilton Smith Hall for a party featuring literacy activities such as making a culture collage, adding to a climate literacy chart, making a monster, creating a missing scene from "Look Both Ways" and developing a 鈥淧oet-tree,鈥 among many other fun ways to develop literacy skills.
