At Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø’sÌý, Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø researchers have launched an innovative composting program that provides a high-quality compost product and captures the heat energy for use elsewhere on the farm. It’s part of University ProfessorÌýwork looking beyond the cows to see the farm as an agroecosystem. The project is supported by the USDA Program on Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) and theÌý, and theÌýÌýwas funded by an anonymous donor.
