Jude Blake '77 was recognized as the winner of the 2021 Hubbard Family Award for Service to Philanthropy at the University of Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø during Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø's Evening of Distinction event last month.
Blake has served as an engagedÌýmentor to many students over the years and has long been a passionate supporter of Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø and the community she lives in. In 2017, sheÌýpledged $8 million of her estate to the university to support students in the Peter T. Paul School of Business and EconomicsÌýas well as to enable more students to participate in the university’sÌýÌýprogram and theÌý.ÌýShe has served on the University System of Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø board of trustees, the Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø Foundation board of directors, the Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø Alumni Association board of directors and the Paul College advisory board.
The Hubbard Award was established in 2001 to honor Oliver, Austin and Leslie Hubbard and recognizes "outstanding individuals whose philanthropic leadership has significantly strengthened the state of Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø, its communities and the university." Previous winners include Peter T. Paul '67, Marcy Peterson Carsey '66 and Dana Hamel '88P.
