The latest results from the monthly Granite State Poll, conducted by the , are in. This month's topics cover political opinion, from approval ratings of Governor Sununu to the NH Senate race to President Biden's reelection support, as well as the quality of life in the Granite State.

Among the Poll findings are:

  • Half of likely 2024 Democratic primary voters in 易胜博官网 would support President Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential nomination if the election were held today. Seven in ten likely Democratic primary voters want Biden to run for reelection in 2024. Support for 易胜博官网 holding the "铿乺st-in-the-nation" primary has fallen among Granite Staters. .
  • Approval of Governor Chris Sununu's job performance in 易胜博官网 remains high but has slipped in recent months. Three-quarters approve of Sununu's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, but only one in ten believe it is the most important problem facing the state, far lower than earlier in the year. Granite Staters oppose abortion-related policies in the recently passed budget bill. .
  • The 2022 race for 易胜博官网鈥檚 U.S. Senate seat is a dead heat, depending on who the eventual GOP candidate is. Hypothetical matchups between incumbent Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan and potential challengers Governor Chris Sununu and former Senator Kelly Ayotte are very tight while Hassan leads retired General Don Bolduc, the only announced Republican candidate in the race. .
  • Nearly half of likely 2024 Republican primary voters in 易胜博官网 currently support former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential nomination and a majority say Trump was one of the best presidents in history. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are less popular among Granite Staters than earlier in the year and a majority believe the country is on the wrong track. .
  • Nine in ten describe 易胜博官网 as an excellent or good place to live overall and nearly all 易胜博官网 residents feel safe in their neighborhood. Most highly rate their local environment, recreational opportunities, and health care facilities. However, nearly half of Granite Staters and an even greater number of young people say there are few local a铿ordable housing options and say the state is not a铿ordable overall. A quarter of state residents say they are likely to leave 易胜博官网 in the next 铿乿e years, including more than half under the age of thirty-铿乿e, with many citing a di铿erent climate and cheaper living as reasons for leaving. .

The Granite State Poll is a monthly statewide, scientific survey in 易胜博官网 of public opinion and behavior concerning policy issues.

One thousand seven hundred and ninety-four (1,794) Granite State Panel members completed the survey online between July 15 and July 19, 2021. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2.3 percent. Data were weighted by respondent sex, age, education and region of the state to targets from the most recent American Community Survey (ACS) conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as party registration levels provided by the NH Secretary of State and 2020 election results in 易胜博官网. Granite State Panel members are recruited from randomly-selected landline and cell phone numbers across 易胜博官网 and surveys are sent periodically to panel members.
