Free haircuts are a hit at The Shop.

The Barber Shop, hosted by the Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø Museum of Art, is an event thatÌýcombines culture, conversation, communication and free haircuts to build relationships within the Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø community. This semester, the event was held on Oct. 4.

The Barber Shop aims to educate Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø community members of theÌýthe history of such shops as pivotal centers of community-building. At Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø, the haircuts become a vehicle to build bridges betweenÌýstudents, faculty and staff in a classic barbershop atmosphere with music, card games and snacks.
