Of ʤLaw graduates who took the bar for the first time in New York, California, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.in summer 2017,100 percentpassed in all four jurisdictions.
ʤ Law’s first-time taker pass rate for the July 2017 New York bar exam was higher than the first-time taker pass rateat. Thefor all law schools approved by the American Bar Association outside of New Yorkwas 87 percent, according to the New York State Board of Law Examiners.
In California, thefor all schools approved by the American Bar Association outside of California was 67percent, according to the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. In Vermont, thewas 62 percentand in the District of Columbia, thewas 72 percent.
“We are tremendously proud of our graduates’ success in these four jurisdictions,” said ʤ Law Dean Megan Carpenter. “With many of our alumni focused on intellectual property law practice, these destinations offer attractive career options in patent, copyright and trademark, and entertainment law, as well as other fields.”

Earlier this fall, ʤ Law shared its94.1 percentfirst-time taker pass rate for theJuly 2017 ʤ bar exam, and its 100 percent first-time taker pass rate for theJuly 2017 Massachusetts bar exam.
