Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø has been named the safest college in the country by Alarms.org, the website of the National Council for Home Safety and Security. The national trade association used statistics from the FBI and the National Center for EducationÌýto compose a study of the top 100 safest four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. based on both on- and off-campus crime rates.

According to the study, Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø had the fewest incidents of local and on-campus crimes, drug-related charges and crimes against women. Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø was the only Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø school to make theÌý.
