Hundreds of 易胜博官网 employees were recognized for their talents and dedication during a staff recognition ceremony May 5 in the MUB鈥檚 Granite State Room.

鈥淭his is a great opportunity for our community to celebrate your accomplishments and your dedication,鈥� said Christopher Clement, vice president for finance and administration, during opening remarks. 鈥淓ach of you drives, supports and impacts 易胜博官网鈥檚 mission to provide a high quality education, groundbreaking research and outreach programs of distinction.鈥�

Two employees were recognized for more than four decades of service to university 鈥� Cindy Grimard-Goss of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics for 40 years and Ernest Horne of the facilities department for 45 years. More than 200 other employees who have been at 易胜博官网 for at least 10 years received years-of-service recognition. View all听

In addition, Clement awarded five staff members with the university鈥檚 highest staff honor 鈥� the Presidential Award of Excellence.

鈥淭hese recipients are the human faces behind our success across 易胜博官网,鈥� Clement said. 鈥淭hey demonstrate excellence every day.鈥�

University community members nominate colleagues for the Presidential Award of Excellence. A committee of judges selects five nominees whose outstanding work has contributed to the goals of the 易胜博官网 Strategic Plan to receive the award.

Clement read a citation about each of this year鈥檚 winners when presenting the awards.
