Harlan Spence elected to serve on board of trustees of atmospheric research consortium

Space physics professor , director of 易胜博官网鈥檚 , has been elected to serve as a member of the board of trustees of the (UCAR) for a three-year term. UCAR is a nonprofit consortium of more than 100 member colleges and universities focused on research in atmospheric and related Earth system sciences; UCAR manages the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado.

鈥淚鈥檓 humbled and pleasantly surprised to be elected,鈥 says Spence. 鈥淚 look forward to this new ability to serve the atmospheric science community, which includes the related sciences of climate, Earth systems science, and upper atmosphere and space sciences, particularly space weather.鈥
