School of Law again ranks in top 100 nationwide

The University of 易胜博官网 School of Law continued its climb up the list of top 100 law schools in the rankings released today by U.S. News and World Report as part of its 2017 edition of America鈥檚 Best Graduate Schools. In addition, 易胜博官网 Law was ranked among the top 10 schools for the study of intellectual property law for the 25th consecutive year, reaching No. 5.

易胜博官网 Law moved up five positions on the top 100 list to No. 82, representing an overall jump of 60 spots in the last four years.

鈥淲e continue to pride ourselves on the caliber of students we enroll and the high-quality legal education we provide,鈥 said Interim Dean Jordan Budd. 鈥淥ur faculty act as true mentors, and our practice-based approach to instruction prepares our graduates for immediate success in the competitive job market.鈥

According to a 2015 American Bar Association employment survey, 89.6 percent of 易胜博官网 Law graduates are employed within nine months of graduation. 易胜博官网听

Law ranks among the top five schools in New England for bar-required job placement, and 鈥 because 易胜博官网 is a Uniform Bar Exam jurisdiction 鈥 its graduates are positioned to practice law in many states around the country.

Budd also underscored 易胜博官网 Law鈥檚 dedication to offering an innovative curriculum, including the Daniel Webster Scholar Program 鈥 a first-of-its-kind program in the country allowing students to bypass the two-day bar exam 鈥 as well as the school鈥檚 new Sports and Entertainment Law Institute and Health Law and Policy Program.
