Academic Support
TRIO Scholars have all the help they need to succeed academically through:
- Content-area support through Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø resource centers
- Tutoring - get free 1:1 tutoring from a student who has been successful in the course through Knack (read more below)
- Peer Academic Mentors - undergraduate students with valuable experience and specialized training to help students reach their academic goals
Content Tutoring
All Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø students have access to , which offers free subject-area tutoring for all classes at Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø. Knack tutors are Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø students who have already taken a class and succeeded in it. With Knack, you can meet as many times as you need throughout a semester by setting up recurring appointments.
Study Skills
All Ò×ʤ²©¹ÙÍø students have access to CFAR’s Academic Mentors, who are fellow undergraduate students that can work with you to develop or refine study skills, organization techniques, time management, problem solving, and more. To learn more, visit the CFAR website.
